"I first came in contact with DisAbility Link back in 2006, when I became a member of the 2006-2007 class of Georgia Voices That Count. “In 2007, when my therapist suggested peer support I Googled it and the only organization I found was disABILITY LINK. I called to get information about disABILITY LINK. I spoke with a staff member, and she invited me to come to the center.
I was a mess; I needed direction in channeling my energy in a positive way. One staff member spent a lot of time with me helping me to come up with attainable goals while another assisted me with finding a job.

Nathalie A. Matthews has been volunteering at disABILITY LINK for six months and has been a tremendous asset to the work that we do. When Nathalie isn’t busy making things happen at disABILITY LINK, she spends her time caring for others and is always motivated to learn new skills. Her weekly agenda consists of rehabilitation, attending computer classes, and working as a computer instructor and volunteer receptionist.
