Event: Georgia Advocacy Office and ADA
Additional Information:

Come to learn more about the ADA and your rights and find out what the GAO does for Georgia residents and how they can help persons with hearing loss advocate for effective communication with medical providers and employers. CART (Captioning) will be provided for this meeting.  Julie Kegley, a staff attorney with GAO who was born with hearing loss, will be presenting. This meeting will take place at the Lawrenceville Rd. As a Center for Independent Living (CIL) disABILITY LINK offers four core services: information and referrals, Independent Living skills training, advocacy on a systems and individual level and peer support. We also offer employment services, Independent Care Waiver Program service coordination, nursing home transition and travel training.
