disABILITY LINK has several programs focused on employment.
Ticket to Work Program:
disABILITY LINK is an Employment Network (EN) for the Social Security Ticket to Work Program. The Ticket to Work program provides Social Security disability beneficiaries an opportunity to return to work. As an Employment Network (EN), disABILITY LINK can assist with career counseling and job placement including help with understanding how benefits may be affected by returning to work.

Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency Partnership
Our agency partners with GVRA ( GA Vocational Rehabilitation Agency) to provide employment services. We work with participants on achieving employment goals. To participate in this program, participants must be referred by GVRA for services. Our agency can work with individuals on obtaining a referral for services. Services provided for GVRA participants include:
- Work Readiness
- Supported Employment
- Networking
- Individualized Planning and goals
- Volunteer programs
- Job Placement
- Internships
- Apprenticeships
- Entrepreneurship
- Job Exploration
Individuals will meet with an Employment Specialist to develop a program that is specific to the individual’s goals.

LEAPS
disABILITY LINK is proud to offer the LEAPS program (Locating Employment Avenues with Peer Support) to our consumers.
LEAPS provides the following:
- Assistance with employment readiness skills (including interviewing, resume preparation, and job searching)
- Regular job leads for a variety of local employment opportunities
- Both one-on-one and group centered peer support
- Connections to state and community-based organizations such as the Benefit Navigator Program and Manpower
- Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicable employment regulations
- Providing education and information for employers about hiring people with disabilities, providing workplace accommodations, and much more
Dress for Success
Dress for Success is now a partner with disABILITY LINK providing professional clothing to the women involved in the LEAPS Employment Program.
Employer Network
Our agency hosts monthly meetings to discuss different employment topics and to share information on employment opportunities. This meeting is reserved for employers as well as other employment and disability related experts. In addition to the monthly meetings, our agency hosts a quarterly meeting where guest speakers present information on community resources, inclusion initiatives, job opportunities and more.
