While Centers for Independent Living are unique in their commitment to the Independing Living philosophy, disABILITY LINK is one of many organizations that provide important support to people with disabilities. Here is a list of some of the services we find to be particularly helpful:

Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta – Provides furniture for people with disabilities, those moving out of homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or living with HIV/AIDS

Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired – Statewide service center for the deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, and deaf-blind

Georgia Free Clinic Network – Searchable index by zip code of free and sliding fee scale clinics in the state of Georgia

Georgia Housing Search – Statewide affordable housing directory

Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network – Support organization for people with mental health diagnoses

ILRU CIL Directory – Nationwide directory of Centers for Independent Living

Metro Fair Housing – a non-profit civil rights organization providing fair housing services to the Atlanta Metropolitan area

Partnership Against Domestic Violence –  Statewide organization that provides support for woman and children dealing with domestic violence and abuse
